Purpose

Purpose isn’t always a lightning bolt or a grand calling. For most of us, it’s something quieter. Something we edge toward. Something we grow into.

Maybe you’ve felt it before, and now it’s gone fuzzy around the edges. Maybe you’re still waiting to discover it — or wondering if it’s something you’ve somehow missed. Maybe the question itself feels exhausting: What am I meant to do?

You’re not alone. Many of us wrestle with purpose in the in-between moments — in the 2am spirals, in the slow commute to the job that doesn’t quite fit, in the longing to feel useful or fulfilled or just more like ourselves.

This pathway is here to help you reconnect with what lights you up — not in a pressure-filled, optimise-your-life kind of way, but in a gentle, curious, and human one.

Purpose might not be a single destination. It might be a feeling. A thread. A small moment of clarity that leads to the next one. It often starts by turning inward — paying attention to what energises you, what drains you, what feels meaningful, and what feels performative.

You don’t need a five-year plan or a perfect vision statement. You just need a willingness to get a little closer to yourself.

This isn’t about finding the one right answer but more about starting to listen for what matters most to you.

Coming to know ourselves better, remembering where the true sources of excitement and interest lie for us seems an indispensable step in the long path towards that eventual, infinitely tricky goal: the discovery of satisfying work.
— Alain de Botton
