Curious

Curiosity offers a range of benefits for our well-being.

But first, let’s figure out what it is.

We can experience curiosity in fleeting moments: we see something on the way to work that catches our attention, or we’re scrolling our phones and we stop at something intriguing. There are wonders to be noticed all around us if we give ourselves the time to pay attention to them.

Some of us though live naturally with curiosity. It never really leaves us (and if it does we’re aware of its absence). We love to learn, to explore, to seek out new information. Being curious is something that defines us. We hold it as a core value. We’re forever seeking and we will follow curiosity anywhere.

We can also cultivate curiosity as a mindset, a way that we’d like to approach the world. We can invite it in by becoming more open to new experiences, starting to ask more questions (and being ok if we don’t have the answers immediately), and desiring a better understanding of something that has alluded us but which we’re willing to look again at.

However it shows up in your life curiosity can enhance your well-being, by improving problem-solving, cultivating creativity, boosting memory, strengthening relationships, and increasing happiness.

This guide will help you explore how to bring more curiosity into your everyday life regardless of how it currently shows up.
